Accessibility

Last reviewed: 19 August 2026

WhaleWatch aims to make its public research, account functions and consumer information usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, zoom or reduced-motion settings.

Measures currently supported

  • Semantic page headings, links, buttons, form names and table headings.
  • A keyboard skip link and visible focus indication.
  • Reduced animation when the operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Responsive layouts at mobile widths; wide analytical tables remain available in labelled horizontal scroll regions.
  • Text alternatives for analytical charts and meaningful images.
  • No CAPTCHA, autoplaying audio or time-limited form completion.

Known limitations

  • Dense market and track-record tables require horizontal scrolling on narrow screens.
  • Some advanced charts are easier to understand visually even though their core values are also presented as text.
  • Public third-party pages linked from WhaleWatch are outside our control.

Feedback and assistance

If a feature or document is difficult to use, send an accessibility messageand describe the page, task and assistive technology involved. We will acknowledge accessibility feedback and provide the information in a reasonable alternative format where practicable.

Legal scope

Croatian accessibility requirements apply to covered e-commerce services from 28 June 2025, with a statutory exemption for micro-enterprises providing services. The provider must confirm its actual enterprise status; WhaleWatch follows accessibility practices regardless of whether that exemption applies.
